The Sharjah Art Foundation's site lists the 17th biennial under the title What remains, sits restive, with dates of 21 January to 13 June 2027. The listing does not print the venues.
The previous edition, Sharjah Biennial 16, is dated 2025 in the foundation's archive, so the 2027 show is the next in the series. The foundation also runs a year-round programme of exhibitions in the emirate.
